Short answer
You cannot change your phone number directly in the app, because it’s used for login and verification.
If you have a new number, you need to create a new account — or contact Support to have your existing account transferred.
What to do if you need to change your phone number
Contact Tiptapp Support via the app, or email support@tiptapp.com and include:
your old phone number
your new phone number
Support may ask you to confirm certain details to verify that the account belongs to you before making the change.
Important to know
Your phone number is used as your unique identifier in Tiptapp.
For security reasons, Support cannot change the number without verifying your identity first.
All new numbers are automatically verified via SMS when you create an account.
