Basic guidelines in order to maintain the well-being of the community

Tiptapp is not just an app, it is a community where we help each other. Our collective effort makes life easier for those who need help and offers an opportunity for others to earn extra money. To make this work smoothly, there are some basic rules we should all follow:

  • Mutual respect: behave and act towards others as you would like to be treated. It is every user's responsibility to contribute to a positive experience on Tiptapp.

  • Secure payments: Payment is made via the app after the mission is completed. This is a requirement for insurance to be valid and for us to verify that recycling is dropped off at the right location.

  • Clear ads: Be sure to describe with pictures and text what you need help with. Helpers only commit to what is in the ad, so no additions after publication.

  • Responsibility when applying: Only apply for ads you can and want to help with. Avoid applying to too many at the same time. For example, if you're not sure whether an item will fit in your car, whether you'll have time, or whether the payment is sufficient, don't apply.

  • Punctuality and availability: Make sure you arrive on time and stay available for communication during the mission. One tip is to always have notifications on before and during the task. This applies to both the person who needs the help and the person who helps.

  • Rating and feedback: After the assignment is completed, both parties get to rate their experience. Your rating can be affected by delays, ambiguities, and other factors.

  • Personal responsibility for the account: Your account is personal. Don't lend it out and do all the assignments you apply for yourself. It's OK to get help from a friend for example in moving something that is difficult to carry alone, but the responsibility will lie with the registered account holder.

If we follow these guidelines together, we will create a better and more efficient Tiptapp community. Thank you for contributing! 👋🏻
