What happens if I’m not satisfied with how my helper completed the ad?

If something wasn’t picked up or finished as expected — no worries! Here’s what to do step by step:

💡 If you’re not satisfied with how your helper completed the ad, don’t confirm and pay yet.
Start by contacting your helper via the in-app chat — and if the issue isn’t resolved, reach out to Tiptapp Support for help.


What to do if you’re not satisfied

Contact your helper in the chat
Open the ad in the app and send your helper a message.
Explain what you’re unhappy with — for example, if something wasn’t picked up, was delivered to the wrong place, or if verification is missing.
In many cases, the issue can be solved directly between you — for example, if the helper returns to complete the task.

Do not approve the payment
Don’t tap Confirm & Pay until everything is as it should be.
The money is only reserved until you approve that the task has been completed correctly.

Note: The ad closes automatically after 5 days — contact Support before then if the issue is delayed or if you cannot reach an agreement.

Contact Tiptapp Support if the issue remains
If you can’t resolve the issue with your helper, contact Support directly in the app.
Describe what happened and include photos if something went wrong.

Leave a review
When the ad is finished, you can leave a rating for your helper.
This helps us maintain safety and quality in the community.


Important to know

  • Never mark an ad as completed until you’ve ensured you’re satisfied with the result.
    The payment is processed automatically once you confirm — and Tiptapp has limited ability to assist afterward.

  • If your helper hasn’t followed the guidelines, Tiptapp can, when necessary, stop the payment, issue a refund or escalate the matter.

  • All recycling is manually verified to ensure everything has been handled correctly.
