Short answer
You can recycle at all staffed recycling centers (ÅVC) in the advertiser's home municipality that accept private individuals.
For certain materials, recycling stations can also be used.
As a helper, you act on behalf of the advertiser and are responsible for ensuring that waste is disposed of in the right place and sorted correctly in accordance with local regulations.
Here you can recycle
Use an approved recycling center (ÅVC)
You may dispose of waste at municipal or approved recycling centers – never at unmanned locations, outside gates, or in bulk waste rooms.
The recycling center is the primary location for recycling. Keep in mind that:
certain materials may be subject to restrictions in terms of quantity or type
hazardous waste, asbestos, gas cylinders, chemicals, or similar items may not be disposed of
Not all recycling centers accept garden waste or concrete, for example.
In some cases, intact and clean items can be left for reuse, as long as the rest is recycled correctly.
Recycling station (for certain materials)
Recycling stations are equivalent locations for recycling certain materials, such as:
newspapers
glass packaging
cardboard
plastic packaging
in some cases, metal packaging and batteries
Only designated materials may be deposited here, and nothing may be placed outside the containers.
Enter the advertiser's address upon entry
Some recycling centers require ID or address verification.
Then state that you are disposing of waste for a private individual via Tiptapp.
You can always show the ad in the app as proof.
Follow the sorting instructions
Sort all materials correctly – for example, wood, metal, electrical items, combustible items, and garden waste.
It is your responsibility to follow the recycling center's rules.
Important to know
You must always use a recycling center or recycling station in the advertiser's home municipality.
You may not leave hazardous waste, gas cylinders, chemicals, paint, asbestos, or similar items.
You are not allowed to leave waste in bulk waste rooms or in private or company-owned containers.
Leaving items in places other than approved recycling centers or recycling stations is considered littering. It is illegal and may result in suspension from Tiptapp.
