Short answer

💡 A helper can sometimes propose a higher price already in their application using the “Offer help for higher payment” feature — but it’s always you who decides whether to accept it.

After a helper has sent their application, no new price negotiation is allowed.
All payment must go through the app, and you only pay the price that both of you have approved in Tiptapp.

What applies if your helper asks for more payment

If your helper suggests a higher price in their application
When a helper sends a request, they may choose to offer help at a higher price.
You’ll receive an in-app notification with the proposed amount.

You can then choose to:

Accept the new price — it becomes the agreed-upon price for the ad.

Wait and see if other helpers send applications.

If your helper asks for more payment after being selected
Once you’ve chosen a helper, no new price discussion is allowed.

If the task turns out to be bigger, heavier or different than described in the ad, you have these options:

Cancel the ad — the helper leaves, and you can post a new ad.

💬 Agree on a new price — you then create a new ad with the correct details.
Ask your helper to cancel the previous ad (support may assist if needed).

📦 The helper only performs the work shown clearly in the photos, if both of you agree.

If you cannot reach an agreement, the ad should be cancelled.

Your responsibility as the advertiser

Everything the helper is expected to pick up must be clearly visible in the ad photos.
If you add more items after selecting a helper, you need to create a new ad — you can choose the same helper again.

Important to know

  • Helpers are only obliged to carry out what is described in the ad.

  • All payment must go through Tiptapp — never Swish, cash or other methods.
If you pay outside the app, Tiptapp cannot ensure proper recycling, and insurance will not apply — for your items or for the helper.

  • If the ad matches what was originally advertised, the helper may not request more payment after their application.
