Cash, Swish or any other payment outside the app is not allowed — this ensures safety, insurance coverage and full traceability.
How payments work
Always pay in the app
When you choose a helper, the amount is automatically reserved via Tiptapp’s payment partner, Stripe.
You only pay when the ad is confirmed as completed, and the money is then transferred to your helper through the system.
Protection for both parties
Payments made in the app are secure and traceable.
This ensures your helper is paid correctly, insurance remains valid and that proper recycling can be verified.
If someone asks for payment outside the app
Always say no and contact Tiptapp Support.
Payments outside the app violate the Terms of Use and may result in suspension.
Important to know
Payment in the app is the only method that activates Tiptapp’s insurance, recycling verification and payout.
Helpers who accept payment outside the app risk being removed from the platform.
