Short answer
💡 If you receive an invoice from a recycling center (ÅVC) after a Tiptapp job, you need to contact the company that issued the invoice.
Tiptapp cannot cancel or adjust invoices from external recycling centers.

How it works

  1. Contact the sender of the invoice
Invoices are always issued directly by the recycling center or its operating company.
Tiptapp has no connection to their billing systems.

  2. Explain that the visit was part of a Tiptapp job
Tell them that you delivered the waste as part of a Tiptapp job on behalf of a private individual.
This can help them review or correct the invoice.

  3. Attach supporting documents
    Include:

  • any exemption ID you received from the staff

  • the receipt from your Tiptapp job (found at the bottom of the job view in the app)

Why might I receive an invoice?

Rules and fees vary between municipalities and recycling centers. Common reasons include:

  • certain recycling centers charge for specific waste types

  • large amounts of construction waste may incur a fee

  • some centers require a recycling card or proof of residency

  • vehicles registered to a company (including vans, pickups or vehicles with company branding) are often charged as “commercial visits”

  • some facilities require scanning a QR code to verify that the waste comes from a private individual residing in the correct municipality

How to avoid invoices in the future

📌 If you’re driving a company-registered vehicle

  • Pre-register on the recycling center’s website if required

  • Speak with the staff at the entrance and explain that you are transporting waste for a private individual via Tiptapp

  • Ask for an exemption ID if needed

💡Private vehicles
If you’re using a private vehicle, no extra steps are usually needed — but keep your ID handy and speak with the staff if you’re unsure.
