Short answer

Your account may be restricted if something in your usage breaks Tiptapp’s rules or if we need to ensure safety on the platform.
Most restrictions are automatic and can often be resolved by contacting support directly in the app.

We strive to resolve restrictions as quickly as possible, and providing accurate details when contacting support can expedite the process.

Common reasons for account restrictions

Cancelled pickups
It’s normal for an ad to be cancelled now and then. But if you cancel too often — more than around 1 out of 10 — your account may be restricted from certain categories.

Prolonged or repetitive cancellations may lead to extended restrictions, emphasizing the importance of assessing commitments before accepting a job.

Recycling
Recycling (and reuse) must be documented correctly and on time. If verification is missing for more than 5–10 days, or if something is unclear, your account may be restricted.

Ensure to document recycling with clear photos: at pickup showing the loaded car, and at the recycling center showing both unloading and the empty trunk. These photos must comply with Tiptapp's guidelines, including being taken during recycling center hours. Incorrect or missing documentation leads to restrictions.

Payment outside the app
Accepting payment via Swish, cash or any method outside the app is not allowed and leads to immediate suspension without a second chance.

Repeated violations or attempts to circumvent this policy result in permanent account suspension with no chance of reinstatement.

Account sharing
Your account is personal. If someone else applies, collects or recycles on your behalf, the account may be restricted or closed.

New users
New helpers go through extra checks. If early usage suggests that rules aren’t being followed or tasks aren’t completed correctly, the account may be temporarily restricted.

Profile picture
Your profile picture must clearly show you — the person who performs the tasks. Any other type of photo leads to restriction until corrected.

Low rating
A sharp drop in rating or multiple negative reviews may result in temporary restrictions while the situation is reviewed.

Ads that aren’t real
Ads that are not genuine — or ads that try to move contact outside Tiptapp — lead to the account being shut down.

Rude or unsafe behaviour
Repeated reports about rude communication, unsafe handling or inappropriate behaviour can lead to restriction or suspension.

Fraud or dumping
Suspected fraud, false verification or dumping leads to immediate restriction and can result in a police report.

Breaking the Terms of Use
Serious or repeated breaches of the Terms of Use result in restrictions or suspension.

Other
Tiptapp is an open platform where safety and courtesy matter. If behaviour doesn’t contribute to a safe environment, the account may be restricted.

What should I do now?

Contact Tiptapp’s support directly in the app.
We’ll help you understand why your account was restricted and what needs to be done to unlock it again.

Temporary restrictions can often be reversed by providing missing documentation or correcting errors. Permanent suspensions cannot be appealed; however, users may still perform other non-restricted activities except in specific cases of policy breaches.
