Short answer

💡 To become a helper on Tiptapp you must be at least 18 years old, have a smartphone, a bank account, and a valid ID.
In Sweden you also need BankID, and in the UK you need a Waste Carrier Licence.
You must also be able to reach the advertiser using a suitable vehicle for the task.

Basic requirements to register as a helper

Age and identity

  • You must be 18 years or older.

  • You must verify your identity with a passport, driver’s licence, or national ID.

  • If you're in Sweden, BankID is required.

  • Verification happens in the app under Account → Become a helper.

Your own account and personal information

  • Each helper must have their own account.

  • Account sharing or using someone else's details is not allowed and will lead to suspension.

  • Your name, address, and date of birth must match your ID.

Bank account for payouts

  • Add your clearing + account number or IBAN in the app.

  • Payments are sent automatically once a task is completed and approved.

Vehicle (depends on the task)

  • For transport, disposal, or delivery tasks, you must have access to a vehicle that fits the items.

  • Cars, estate cars, vans, or trailers work well.

  • For smaller tasks, a bicycle or e-bike is often enough.

Smartphone with internet

  • You need the Tiptapp app to view ads, chat with advertisers, and verify recycling.

  • During active tasks, location sharing must be enabled.

Additional requirements for helpers in the UK

  • An Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence is required for recycling/disposal tasks.

Helper responsibilities

As a helper, you are responsible for:

  • Only applying to ads you can reliably complete.

  • Following Tiptapp’s community guidelines by being punctual, respectful and reliable.

  • For recycling tasks: completing verified recycling, including taking required photos at pickup and at the recycling centre.
